What are we asking that you do?

"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little"

Edmund Burke, Irish statesman and philosopher

As a member of staff or student within SoES, we ask that you:-

  • Take a close look at your working / studying life and identify any aspects of it that could be made more sustainable without a cost to your performance - examples are given in the useful info section of the website.

  • Change these aspects of your behaviour and politely encourage others around you to do the same.

  • Contact your sustainability advocate if you become aware of any opportunities to improve the environmental performance of the School as a whole or any of the buildings within it.

  • Contact the FM response desk (42277) if you notice any unnecessary wastage of heat or leaky taps, etc.
  • Bear in mind the commitment of the school to sustainable practice in all of your dealings inside and outside of it.

Thank you!
