The Liverpool University Fencing Club practices three times a week, at the University Sports Hall (20 Oxford Street). Some of the advanced and intermediate sessions this year will take place on the Liverpool Student Guild Dance Studio (Building adjacent to the Sports Centre). Our practices are split between open sessions, beginners sessions, and intermediate/advanced sessions. Sessions for the new academic term begin on Tuesday, 26 September 2006. Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:30pm (Sports Hall) Beginners Session (Free Fencing this term ) 8:00 - 10:00pm (Dance Studio) Intermediate/Advanced Thursdays 8:00pm-10:00pm (Dance Studio) - Advanced Sessions Saturdays 12:00pm-2:00pm (Sports Hall) - Open Sessions (intermediate/advanced) Feel free to drop by if you are interested in learning a bit about the club and about fencing in general. It is preferable to pass by on Tuesdays or Saturdays. If you’d like to pass by on Thursdays, please e-mail us in advance. |
NEW FENCERS We regret to inform students and other interested parties that once again due to space limitations, LUFC will not be doing Beginners Sessions this term. If you are interested in learning to fencer, please contact LUFC and we will let you know what options are available to you. Experienced fencers are welcomed to drop in for a session. |
