Primary text: Henry IV, Parts I and II

Secondary reading:
Since you have two plays to tackle this week, no supplementary reading has been given. however, do explore the critical reading suggested in the reading list, and read the chapter on the history plays from Shakespeare: The Basics if you didn't manage to do so last week.

Other prep

In your study-group, choose ONE passage (soliloquy or dialogue) that you like from either part of Henry IV. This should be short, and shouldn't take more than 5 minutes for you to read out (you can edit/cut a longer section to suitable length). In the tutorial, I'd like you to either present, or talk us through, two very different ways in which that same section could be presented. You can base your interpretations on any of the critical reading you have done this week or in the previous week if you want.
