investigating how pH and thermal stress influence early development in several species of coastal marine molluscs. Ewan is applying transcriptomic and proteomic techniques, and relating these to phenotypic outcomes in order to improve our understanding of how multiple species may respond to climate change

Megan completed her MRes on Daphnia development and the transmission of maternal effects. She is now a PhD student in Dr Julia Ferrari’s lab at York working on performance enhancing bacteria: the ecological benefits of insect symbiosis.
Chris is training to be a physiotherapist
Joy completed a PhD on the effect of equine grass sickness on horse gut bacteria and metabolism in 2015. She is currently working as a search assistant in the school of veterinary medicine at the University of Surrey.
