Extreme events: shaping the surface of the Earth

 

Abstract submission:

Abstracts must be submitted electronically to rchiv(at)liv.ac.uk and must follow the formatting guidelines listed in the document below. Under the subject title of the email please enter your full name, followed by your preference for either an oral or poster presentation (e.g. John Smith_Drippingtap_Oral Presentation).

 

The following themes have been selected. When submitting your abstract please highlight in your email which theme you would like to present under.

  • Extreme events on the Earth surface

  • A dripping tap: the long haul in evolution of the earth surface

  • Magnitude and frequency in earth surface processes

  • Simulation and prediction: coping with extremes

  • Hazards: society adjusting to extreme

  • Resources for schools and educators

Guidelines for poster and oral presentations will be published at a later date.
