Being mentally healthy means we have the emotional resilience to enjoy life and engage productively in, and contribute to, our society or community.
It also means we have the resilience to cope with sadness, disappointment and change.
In the Higher Education sector there is a growing awareness of the effect of increasing course commitments, change in social and economic environment, transition from school to university and from university to work, has on our students.
This conference, encompassing a mix of expert speakers and small group discussions, will explore the ideas of resilience and how we can support our students. Sharing best practice and developing new ideas and new areas of research, are its ultimate objectives |
