Chesowanja

Chesowanja

The Chesowanja sites lie to the east of Lake Baringo in Kenya. They give a Pleistocene sequence at intervals between 1.6 million years and recent times.  The geology was investigated by Bill Bishop, Andrew Hill, John Carney and Martin Pickford, and an archaeological expedition conducted by J.W.K. Harris and John Gowlett.
