Simulation Activities
Piloted evaluation: The Shuttleworth Collection chief pilot, Dodge Bailey, carried out a handling qualities analysis of both the current 1903 Wright flyer simulation model and the upgraded models produced by the students.
Sim1: Race track -
each student will be timed flying around a race course in the
"Super
Grob" with time penalties for missing gates and the quickest at the
end of the week was awarded a prize.
Sim2: Student flying
-assessment of the existing 1903 glider by the students.
Sim3: Evaluation of final simulation model by a test pilot.
