The 1905 Flyer was the Wright Brother’s first practical aeroplane. The 1905 Flyer flew 38km in just over 38 minutes in October of 1905. This was to be the last time the Wrights flew for two years whilst they attempted to market their creation around the world. The Liverpool Wright project will assess this aircraft and look at how it evolved from it predecessors, focussing on how the Wrights were able to improve the handling qualities over the 1903/04 design. |
