The UK Centre for Materials Education was established by the UK Funding Councils as part of their Learning and Teaching Support Network (LTSN). It is now part of the Higher Education Academy. The Centre's staff are based at Liverpool and provide support to all teachers of materials science or engineering in the UK. Details of their activities can be found on the Centre Web site.
