ARRIVING BY PLANE
You will most likely be flying to either Liverpool John Lennon airport or Manchester airport. From Liverpool John Lennon airport, there are buses taking you to the city centre (which is about eight miles from the airport), see here for more info. From Manchester Airport, you can take a train or coach to Liverpool Lime Street, see here.
ARRIVING BY TRAIN
The central train station in Liverpool is called Lime Street, which is a short distance from the University and National Express coaches stop at Liverpool One bus station, about a 20 minute walk from campus.
VENUE
All talks will take place at the Hele-Shaw lecture theatre in the Harrison Hughes building. The entrance of the building is on an interior courtyard, which you can access through an arch from Brownlow Hill. Due to construction work, you have to first walk along Brownlow Hill until the Victoria Building clock tower, then double back along the sidewalk until the arch.
