Numerical Modelling
The University of Liverpool Team mainly focuses on the development and validation of numerical models as tools to study morphology at storm scale for the site. The main phases are:
- Phase I: 2DH modelling to aid field work planning (4 months)
- Phase II: Q3D modelling (18 months ) with link to an on-going project HYDRO
- Phase III: Testing Q3D with Lab/Field data (3 months)
- Phase IV: What-if scenarios (9 months)
- Phase V: Data for design guidelines
