The University of Liverpool Team mainly focuses on the development and validation of numerical models as tools to study morphology at storm scale for the site. The main phases are:
Phase I: 2DH modelling to aid field work planning (4 months)
Phase II: Q3D modelling (18 months ) with link to an on-going project HYDRO
Phase III: Testing Q3D with Lab/Field data (3 months)
Phase IV: What-if scenarios (9 months)
Phase V: Data for design guidelines
2DH Modelling Results
WC2D results: Velocity vectors @ mean tidal level
WC2D results: Velocity vectors @ low tidal level
WC2D results: Wave Height @ high tidal level
WC2D results: Wave Direction @ high tidal level
