TRIADS Agreement with Evaluation Sites
The TRIADS system engine, question templates
and technical support will be supplied to a named Contact at
a named Department & Organisation, hereinafter referred
to as the 'Evaluation Site', in return for the following:
1. The results from at least one evaluation
survey for each student group undertaking an assessment delivered
by the TRIADS system, using the interactive evaluation forms
built into the system engine.
2. The questions and results from one test
with associated evaluation survey using the interactive evaluation
forms built into the system engine.
3. A six-monthly evaluation report from all
course leaders, who are delivering assessments with the system,
using the evaluation forms provided by the TRIADS project.
4. Full and active collaboration with the
TRIADS project team in the development of new question styles
for interactive delivery.
5. Agreement to the following conditions regarding
intellectual copyright:
a) The copyright of the DIADS/TRIADS system
coding resides with the University of Derby and no part of
it shall be reconstituted by a third party into any package for
commercial gain.
b) The copyright of the coding of the TRIADS
question templates resides with the TRIADS project.
c) The DIADS/TRIADS system and question templates
shall not be used for any commercial purposes whatsoever
without the express permission in writing from authorised representatives
of both the University of Derby and the TRIADS project.
d) The intellectual copyright of the academic
content and subject material of any questions supplied to
the TRIADS project for development purposes shall reside with
the Evaluation Site and the author of the question.
e) The TRIADS project will not publish
the academic content or subject material of any questions
supplied by the Evaluation Site for development purposes, without
the express permission of the Evaluation Site and the question
author.
f) The TRIADS project shall be free to use
question styles and coding resulting from development
work with the Evaluation Site provided that new subject material
is substituted or express permission of the question author and
Evaluation Site is granted for the use of the original content.
g) Copyright for new generic code templates
produced by the TRIADS project, as a result of question
designs provided by the Evaluation Site for development purposes,
shall reside with the TRIADS project.
h) New generic code templates produced by
the project as a result of question designs provided by the Evaluation
Site shall be disseminated as part of the TRIADS system and project.

Confirmation of Acceptance of Terms and
Conditions
Section A to be completed in duplicate by Evaluation
Site and returned to TRIADS.
I/we agree to abide by the conditions stated
in the TRIADS Agreement with Evaluation Site.
