VITAL support for staff

Annual module rollover process

What does the process do?

VITAL modules are automatically created using module specifications in the TULIP database. Each year a module gets rolled over for the next year by administrative staff in the department. Academic staff can use course copy to copy content from last year's module into the current one. The guide below explains this process.

Known issues

If you receive a green success message about the Course Copy being successful and queued, you need to wait until you get the notification email that your Course Copy has completed. The process is not instant and can take longer when there are a large number of copy requests queued for processing.
