| Director Dr Susanna Thomas and team members Fiona Simpson and Ashley Cooke along with villagers from Abqa'in who worked with us in February and March 2001. The mission was accompanied by Mr Khaled Abd el-Ghany and Mr Ashraf Abd el-Rahman representing the Supreme Council of Antiquities. The mission would like to thank Professor Gaballa A Gaballa and Mr Abd el-Salaam Abu Bakr and Mr Magdi Sayed in Cairo and Mr Rabia Amin Abu el-Kasim the Director of Bahriya for all their efforts on our behalf. |
