Dr Harry Leach
Physical Oceanographer, University of Liverpool
Personal Statement
I am a sea-going physical oceanographer and have worked particularly in the North Atlantic and Southern Ocean. I am interested in the role of eddies in the ocean and how they affect primary productivity. I am also interested in sea level and what it can tell us about the ocean circulation and also in questions relating to particularly interesting ocean regions. I teach a range of modules in physical oceanography ranging from basic physics and maths, through experimental physical oceanography to advanced level courses and supervising final year projects.
