Paul Colbon was born in 1986. He recieved his M. Chem. degreee here at liverpool in 2008. His final year project was supervised by Dr. Andrew Carnell, making chiral ligands for use in asymmetric catalysis. He started his Ph. D. in October 2008 working with Prof Xiao on the Pd catalyzed coupling reactions, graduating in 2012. His scientific interests include organic synthesis, catalysis and green chemistry. Out of university, Paul enjoys many sports, including gof and rugby league, and he enjoys social events. Upon completion of his Ph. D. Paul took up a position in industry.
