Jonathan Barnard received his M.Sc. in Chemistry from Durham University in 2005. He received his Ph.D. in 2010 from the same university where he worked under the direction of Prof. Todd Marder and Prof. Andrew Whiting on the development and applications of late metal catalysed C-H borylation reactions. In 2010 Jonathan joined Prof. Xiao’s group as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Liverpool with his work concentrating on the development of novel catalytic reactions. In his spare time he enjoys surfing and fishing.
