Edward Booth completed his M.Chem degree here at the University of Liverpool in 2011. His fourth year project was completed under the supervision of Dr. John Claridge aiming to synthesise multiferroic metal oxides. He started his PhD in October 2011 under the guidance of Professor Jianliang Xiao on organometallic catalysis, which will encompass his main research interests of organic synthesis and catalysis. Outside of studying Edward enjoys many sports, especially cricket and football, socialising with friends, and travelling.
