Current project

My research is focussed on the development of an open-source software for the analysis of quantitative proteomics data. The software includes the integration of quantitative methods, definition of standards for data exchange and development of an user-friendly environment for the submission and (re)analysis of proteomics datasets.

Other projects

I have also participated in the development of bioinformatics web-based tools for the analysis of several immune genes such as HLA, KIR, MIC and different cytokine gene polymorphisms. Some of the developments include the construction of a website for the analysis of allele, haplotype and genotype frequencies in different human populations. As part of data standardisation, I am also interested on data exchange protocols. At present, I am on charge of the development and maintenance of the www.allelefrequencies.net website.
