CRYPTOSPORIDIOSIS

Cryptosporidium is a coccidian parasite  infecting many animals and humans. It lacks host specificity and therefore has zoonotic potential. Clinical disease is characterised by diarrhoea and weight loss especially in young animals.

Parasite Detection

At TESTAPET, Cryptosporidium is detected by examination of specially stained faecal smears.

Sample        1g of fresh faeces.
