Current Projects

There are various projects which have been started within the last few years, which are:

Feedback between physical and chemical processes during dehydration reactions

The fluid flow properties of fault damage zones

Can CO2 be safely stored in subsurface geological reservoirs? (NERC Industrial CASE - BP)

Previous Projects

Elastic development in variably fractured rocks using laboratory uniaxial compression tests on rocks that undergo fracturing to aid in improving understanding of seismic wave velocities around large fault zones (Nuffield Foundation funding)
