In the Rock Deformation Laboratory, we develop apparatus that
can replicate the pressures and temperatures found in the Earth's
crust. Under these conditions, we aim to characterize the
deformation properties of rocks. We are particularly interested in
the interactions of fluids and fluid flow with the deformation
process.
