It should be easy to copy these files onto your own PC (MalHaploFreq won't work under Linux or Mac). • The User manual • The executable file • Example datafile (MHFdatafile.txt) • Example input parameter file (MHFparameters.txt) Provided the last three files are all in the same directory, double clicking the executable file should run the analysis and put the results into a new file called MHFoutput.txt It’s a computationally intensive programme so may take a while to run. See note (1) in the User manual section “What’s new in Version 2.1.1?” for how to check on progress. This analysis won’t be much use to you but it shows it can work. You just have to replace the datafile with one of your own (must be called MHFdatafile.txt) and replace the parameter file with one appropriate to your analysis (this file must be called MHFparameters.txt); see user manual for details.
