Movies

We plan to post here some movies from our simulations that can be viewed online or downloaded to your hard disk. At the moment they are still in a non web friendly format (read large and not streamed).

All movies are in quicktime format. Click on the links below and movie will open in a new browser window (plug-in required) or right click on link to save a copy to your own local storage space.

Here are some examples of cascades in Fe:

All these are 25keV cascades in Cu:

Cascade A Part 1 14.5MB
Cascade A Part 2 9.4 MB
Cascade B a diffuse cascade 9.3 MB

Making Movies

Our movies are made using PyMOL http://www.pymol.org

using cgo objects which are then
rendered to movie frames in png format.

Quicktime is used to assemble the
numbered frames into movies.
