The present Faculty is a major centre in the United Kingdom
for engineering teaching and research. Up-to-date
facilities are available in well-equipped
laboratories. There are about 100 teaching staff
and over 1,000 undergraduates, of whom 13% are
female.

Engineering has been studied at Liverpool since the foundation of
the University in the late nineteenth century.
Civil Engineering, Aerospace Engineering,
Integrated Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Electronics,
Manufacturing Engineering & Industrial Management,
Materials Science & Engineering as well as Mechanical
Engineering are all catered for.
