VITAL Support Overview



Student VITAL queries - please note - all student queries concerning VITAL should be directed to the CSD helpdesk (contact information at http://www.liv.ac.uk/csd/helpdesk/). The information on this support site is intended for academic and administrative staff only.

Staff support for VITAL

The University’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is called VITAL (Virtual Interactive Teaching at Liverpool) and uses the Blackboard software.

For staff, VITAL is supported by two teams, each of which has different responsibilities. Each team aims to answer your query as quickly as possible.

Please note that the email address for VITAL support is changing. From Monday April 16th 2012 any technical VITAL queries (module enrolments, system crashes and errors, tools and facilities not working) should be sent to CSD Helpdesk (helpdesk@liv.ac.uk or telephone 44567). CSD Helpdesk will then send your query to the most appropriate University team to deal with your particular issue.

As well as responding to all student queries, CSD deal with all issues concerning:
