Previously, I occupied the Chair of Pure Mathematics at the University of Liverpool that was endowed (as Chair of Mathematics) in 1882.
However, I retain an honorary affiliation as Honorary Professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, and my former Liverpool e-mail address will continue working for the time being.
